2008 Riesling Reserve Icewine

This Riesling Icewine is lush and decadent yet vibrant and exciting, with the hallmark, sweet-tart character of great Riesling Icewine. The wine offers a wonderful bouquet and flavours of citrus, green apple, guava and praline with mouthwatering persistence and length.

Naturally frozen on the vine, grapes destined for Icewine production are painstakingly hand harvested at temperatures of -8°C or colder. As the frozen grapes are pressed, only a few precious drops of concentrated juice are obtained. At Mission Hill Family Estate, Icewine isn't made every year.
