Trapiche Oak Cask Cabernet 2008, Argentina

Tasting Notes: Intense red color with aromas of chocolate, black cherry, cedar, spices and black currant. In the mouth, the wine is full and round with elegant, soft tannins, and shows notes of tobacco and smoke on the long finish. Food Match: Soft cheeses, roasts, red meat, grilled meats, game, beef. Wine Enthusiast Opening aromas of cola and dark fruits are belied by the tangy, edgy palate that's fresh in terms of its raspberry and plum flavors but not all that deep or complex. A clean, straightforward wine with zest but limited flavors.
